SoCalRunning.com Launch

We at design simple are happy to announce the launch of www.socalrunning.com.

Gary and Steve brought us on to help with a face lift and hosting transfer on their very popular running blog.

The project was a big success and we at Design Simple are excited that Gary and Steve have asked us to work on a couple other projects for them.

It almost makes us want to get up and run… but we’d better go read their running blog some more to ensure we have proper form.

Project: Cloth Diaper Diva

Detail: The client approached us with a desire to create a blog she wanted to start on cloth diapering. She wanted the blog to be clean and simple and to be monetized using Google AdSense and Amazon affiliates.

For the project we created a custom header and adjusted the colors of the template to reflect the light feeling of the content.

Finally, we conducted Search Engine Optimization and social bookmarking campaigns for the client.

Project: Blog Site Customization

Details: For this project the client wanted to utilize the power and flexibility of wordpress while maintaining the appearance of a more traditional website. We determined that using the Revolution Theme by Brian Gardner was the best option for this project.

Along with creating custom graphics and modifying the template, we decided on page style and layout that would best meet the goals of the client.

For this project we also conducted some Search Engine Optimization using keyword research, social bookmarking, and submission to several blog and religious aggregators.

Well, after far too long we have launched the new designsimple.net website.

Now, cleaner and simpler than ever…
